Fun with Cousin Sadie

Sorry it's been so long without a blog. This time it's because... there's really nothin' much to talk about. During the last few weeks we've been busy with lots of boring stuff. We've all had more daycare colds, Matt's been studying for exams, I've been working hard , and Bea's been hangin' out being her smiley self.

We have had a couple of great days playing with Bea's cousin, Sadie (see pictures - Bea has the striped shirt on in the top two and the red shirt in the pic below - Matt is, of course, wearing gopher gear. Surprise.). Sadie is only six month older then Bea and Bea is catching up in size... but wow, six months makes a difference cognitively. Sadie is running around, pretending to vaccuum, and saying works like "outside" and "eyebrow." Bea is still not crawling, primarily likes to bang stuff together, and has not said, "Mama" yet. (Says "Dada" all the time, little stinker.)

In other news, Bea is going to take her first airplane trip this weekend - we are going to visit our friends Deanna, Chris, Sophie, and Ginny in Maryland. Since Bea actually startles when planes fly over the house, it will be interesting to see what she does when she is actually in one.

That's all for now - hope you are well!
M
